The passion for flying at CoptaView began many years ago whilst following a family passion for building and flying radio control model aircraft ,of all types, powered, and gliding.
The love of all things related to aviation was also further strengthened by living in close proximity to several RAF airfields for many years.
As drone technology has evolved it has become increasingly clear that this new genre of aircraft can enable a unique perspective on activities that have previously been firmly anchored to ground operations, or only available by utilising expensive full size aircraft flights.
The utilisation of this technology has beneficial implications in health and safety, by enabling safe inspections to be carried out more quickly than traditional scaffold, and safety ladder deployments.
Enabling a drone photographer or drone videographer to carry out safe drone inspections, and aerial photography from previously inaccessible view points is definitely a very exciting aspect to offering a drone service.
